The submersible pump
Submersible pumps are very popular pumps that can be used for numerous projects. With a submersible pump, it is necessary to take the motor into account. Since it cannot be air-cooled by a fan, a submersible pump is often cooled by the liquid you are working with. For this reason, a submersible pump may only be used whenever it is submerged in the medium. In some cases, it is possible to set up the pump dry. In this case, the pump must be equipped with a submersible pump cooling jacket.
Applications of hydraulic variants
The figure below shows the various applications of hydraulic variants. Each variant uses a different impeller type such as the Vortex-, and the Cutting impeller.
