The shaft seal, magnetic coupling or (sliding) bearing in a pump are vital for the operational reliability of the pump. There are many applications where the shaft seal, magnetic coupling or bearing are a problem with regard to operational reliability. For example, because the medium crystallizes, there is a lot of foam or air in the liquid, the medium is very hot, or because level control is difficult. The solution is a pump without a shaft seal or bearing in the medium; the cantilever pump.

Extra information

Sectional drawing Cantilever pump

The pump casing is immersed in the liquid and the motor is placed above the foundation outside the corrosive and / or abrasive liquid. With long immersion lengths, a heavy duty bearing bracket is placed between the foundation and the motor. This immersible pump version has no bearing or shaft seal in the liquid and may therefore run dry without any risk of damage.

Why u would
choose this product

May run dry indefinitely

The ideal pump for really difficult applications where, among other things, the shaft seal is the bottleneck.

Suitable for hot fluids

Because the motor is located outside the liquid and the pump is allowed for dry running, the pump is suitable for very high medium temperatures.

Not maintenance sensitive

Due to its robust design, large free passage and dry-running resistance, this pump is not maintenance prone.
